Carry out daily inspections to see that the equipment are in excellent working condition.

Report defects and use initiatives where necessary

Operate the equipment assigned in accordance with the manual of operations and universal best practice, while observing all necessary safety rules

Perform related work as assigned

Receive and deliver containers to internal movement tractor units and external truckers.

Certification, apprentice and/ or knowledge of equipment of cranes rubber tyred  gantries (RTG), reach-stackers, etc and/or maintenance of heavy duty  equipment (plants)

 Knowledge of computer, IT/keyboards skills

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the operation of cranes and ports operations

Ability to detect operating defects/faults

Ability to work with high voltage equipment

Ability to keep records of fuel used and general operating conditions 

Written and verbal communication skills
