Job Description
Provide technical guidance and proggrammatic to APIN laboratories.
Provide technical expertise on all clinical laboratory issues.
Inspect and supervise APIN-supported clinical laboratory facilities.
Ensure that laboratory testing policies and procedures comply with current federal regulations.
Ensure quality test results by enrollment in Proficiency Testing programmes.
Ensure good laboratory practice at all APIN supported sites.
Supervise the collection and analysis of laboratory date for programme management.
Provide technical assistance to otther implementing partners and federal/ State Ministries of Health.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in any relevant laboratory discipline with professional certification of either AIMLT/FIMLT is required. A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Previous experience working in an international development organisation and managing a clinical laboratory will be added advantage.
