Want to work from home at a job you can feel passionate about, and that makes the world a better place for farm animals? Enjoy flexible work hours and living location, room for growth, competitive salary and a results-driven atmosphere. This is a great job for productive, self-directed people who are skilled at working online and who want to protect farm animals from cruelty. Full time paid position is available. Must be fluent in English. Additional French or German language ability is a plus, but not required.
Lever Foundation is a non-profit that works to protect farm animals from abuse in the Greater China Region and southeast Asia. You can learn more about Lever at: http://www.lever.hk/en .
As a Campaign Manager, you will launch and run online public pressure campaigns against major European and American food companies (such as restaurant and grocery store chains) that fail to protect the welfare of animals in their supply chain in the Greater China Region. You will use web content, social media, online advertising, and other methods to educate the public and to persuade these companies to improve their animal welfare policies.
Ideally you will also be able to have phone meetings and in-person meetings with companies to explain the issue and encourage them to make a policy change.
You’ll work from home, and you can decide which hours of the day you want to work. You’ll have wonderful colleagues in the greater China region and the United States who will work with and support you. You’ll stay in close touch with them through calls, email and messages.
Through this work, you will have hands-on experience directing efficient and successful non-profit campaigns. Best of all, you’ll win policy changes that protect millions of farm animals from the worst cruelties.
We are looking for someone with a very strong work ethic who can do online work quickly and productively without having to be closely managed. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, who can write well, and who would be content working on their computer all day. Must be fluent in English. Additional French or German language ability is a plus, but not required.
Because we run public campaigns against major food companies, we need someone who is very comfortable confronting corporations over their inadequate policies. The ideal candidate enjoys this type of confrontation, and enjoys the strategic thinking of how best to pressure companies into making a change. Would you be happy to call an executive and tell them you are launching a negative publicity campaign against their company? Are you competitive by nature with a strong inner drive toward achieving success at work? If so, we’d love for you to apply.
No specific experience or degree is required—just the skills outlined above and a passion for protecting farm animals from abuse!
