Job Description

We are on the search for a Manager / Associate Director, Career and Career Skills to join our Careers team. You will work closely on our existing products and new initiatives, have the opportunity to help shape our product direction, and see your work have a large-scale impact.

**This is a full-time employment opportunity, hybrid (NYC) 3 days per week.**

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable speaker and subject matter expert to both internal and external audiences on all Career-related content
  • Engage with Level All audience by connecting our content to users through live and virtual presentations and on-camera (video) appearances
  • Source Career subject matter experts to contribute expertise in creating engaging content
  • Review and approve content and creative elements for accuracy, brand, and consistency
  • Follow market and job trends in order to tailor timely and relevant research focus and content
  • Respond to user data and feedback to ensure the highest quality student (user) experience
  • Collaborate with teammates and company leadership to ensure content is consistent across collections and meeting stakeholder needs 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of prior work experience with at least 3 years in education, workforce development, career advising / counseling, career development, or related position(s)
  • Experience working with high school, college students, and/or young professionals with diverse needs
  • Experience creating and developing career-specific content, including what a specific career is, the requirements needed for entry, pros/cons of a career, and long-term growth projections
  • Familiarity with widely utilized research and data relevant to career profiles and  employment trends (Department of Labor, Occupational Outlook Handbook, CareerOneStop, Bureau of Labor Statistics, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Presence and confidence for on-camera appearances
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Additional Information

The annual total compensation for this position is expected to be between $100,000  - $130,000. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the indicated range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Level All are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for stock-based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
