Job Description

We are on the search for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team! The successful candidate is a self-directed information technology professional with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. They will provide exceptional, timely technical assistance and support to internal end users on the organization’s computer systems, telecommunications and peripheral hardware, and assist with various technical projects in support of Level All’s strategic goals.

This is a full-time position working onsite in our NYC office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementation of new network tools, operating system and software upgrades, information security, and other IT related projects

  • Troubleshoot, test, repair, install and provide maintenance on computer and peripheral equipment on site and remotely

  • Prepare, configure and deploy new, replacement or upgraded computer hardware, peripheral hardware, software, phones, network equipment and cables

  • Create and maintain user accounts, shared resources and permissions within network

  • Maintain IT Asset Inventory

  • Administer user account permissions

  • Assist in training staff with hardware and software use

  • Coordinate, escalate user incidents to vendors such as phone and network provider, other service and component vendors

  • Review network, security, and asset logs daily

  • Manage daily backup procedures for servers / data storage

  • Regularly inspect for improper usage and Malware via cloud systems

  • Assist staff with audio and video equipment for meetings and conferences

  • Provide back-up coverage for the Head of Technology

  • Assist with short and long-term IT projects

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), diagnosing and resolving onsite and remote device related problems as well as resolving internet, network, mobile and telephone connectivity

  • Strong working knowledge and demonstrated support experience of Mac OS, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Products, familiarity with cloud services such as Google Workspace, Okta MFA and SSO

  • Demonstrated MAC / PC / Notebook configuration experience

  • Demonstrated network experience (LAN, WAN, WIFI, MPLS, TCP I/P, etc.) 

  • Proficiency in handling virus and malware removal

  • Familiarity with Monday.com a plus but not required

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work well independently and in teams

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience

  • CISCO, Microsoft, ITIL certificate a plus

Additional Information

Compensation range: US$75,000 - $85,000 / year. This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, we will consider location, skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors in determining our offer.
