Job Description
As North and Western Europe Sub-Region Manager, part of EMEAI Region (Europe Middle East Africa India), you will report directly to the EMEAI Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build with the team a strategic plan for the Sub-Region over a rolling 3 to 5 years time horizon. Define and propose annual sales targets and ensure S&OP compliance through monthly forecasting. Provide guidelines for the team.
- Secure with the team the sales growth, with a strong opportunity pipeline and sales monitoring, trials support, information sharing and reporting.
- Develop customer portfolio. Ensure Customer intimacy and coordination with all functions, to growth business. Provide guidance and support the local team to develop and execute their local plan.
- Propose and execute marketing plans (events, trade shows, promotional campaigns) within approved budgets and with corporate function support.
- Identify market gaps and recommend portfolio improvements to Phileo management
- Collaborate with marketing & communication teams to enhance brand visibility and demand generation.
- Ensure reporting (accounts, visits, price list, opportunities…) into Phileo CRM system
- Coordinate administrative records for the products sold within the Sub-Region, in conjunction with the Phileo teams.
- Lead and accompany the Area Managers and their their local teams & guarantee a good social climate: participate in recruitment, ensure the integration, conduct the annual review, set objectives and sales targets, recommend team members for promotions, salary proposal and eventual sanctions.
Qualifications
Education/experience:
- Master’s degree or Engineer Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in management of sales team.
- Strong background & knowledge in animal nutrition and health, knowledge of the target markets and their players.
- Structured and able to plan all involved activities in the long term. Track record in action plans development & roll-out.
- Ability to understand the total business chain; ability to decode customer organization & identify influencers & decision - makers.
- Solid experience in sales & negotiation role. Ability to manage and coordinate sales team in a multicultural environment and remote based team.
- Fluent English is essential and any other language is a plus.

Additional Information
Scope of responsibility: North and Western Europe Sub-Region, part of EMEAI Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India).
