Job Description
The mission of the Customer Solutions Center is to be a key contributor to Gnosis’ transformative growth by bridging the gap between R&D and Commercial activities to unlock deeper connections with customers.
This role serves as a primary communication liaison between customers & regional teams, and internal R&D teams. You will bridge scientific expertise with practical application knowledge to enhance customer experience, solve complex formulation challenges, and ensure successful product development outcomes. You will work with a collaborative team of scientists and industry experts using a customer-centric approach. You will play a key role in communication with regional R&D Experts to align regional & global activities. You will leverage existing knowledge while further developing your scientific expertise to create new knowledge for customers and internal teams.
As our Technical Formulation Expert, your main missions will be focus on:
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot customer formulation and analytical testing challenges with evidence-based solutions; diagnose and resolve stability, bioavailability, and compatibility issues.
- Technical Communications: Translate complex scientific information for customers and commercial teams; develop technical guides, scientific reports, and educational presentations.
- Content Development: Create and maintain technical documentation including formulation guides, stability reports, and regulatory compliance summaries.
- Formulations: Develop and optimize dietary supplement formulations across various galenic forms; conduct feasibility studies and stability testing protocols.
- Galenic & Food Applications: Support scale-up and market-ready supplement applications; coordinate testing, trials, and manufacturing process optimization.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industry.
- 5+ years B2B customer-facing experience.
- Proven track record developing formulations in various formats (capsules, tablets, gummies, liquids, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with scale-up, GMP standards, and analytical testing.
Technical & Scientific Skills:
- Formulation Science: Deep expertise in dietary supplement and functional food formulation; understanding of excipient functionality, interactions, and compatibility.
- Active Ingredients Knowledge: Strong background in vitamins, minerals, botanicals, probiotics, and emerging bioactive compounds; understanding of stability, bioavailability, and delivery mechanisms.
- Analytical & Stability Testing: Proficiency in HPLC, dissolution testing, microbial analysis, and stability protocols (ICH guidelines); ability to interpret and troubleshoot analytical data.
- Water & Moisture Behavior: Knowledge of water activity, moisture sorption, and humidity effects on formulation stability.
- Regulatory Framework: Understanding of dietary supplement regulations (FDA, EFSA, local requirements) and labeling compliance.
- Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of tablet compression, capsule filling, granulation, and liquid manufacturing techniques.
- Software Proficiency: CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot); familiarity with formulation software or statistical analysis tools (JMP, Design of Experiments) is a plus.
