Job Description
The part you will play
- Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to BC : technical support, trainings, product development, trouble shooting, sensory analysis, formulation, laboratory operations, related to internal – employees, new comers - and external technical support – clients, distributors.
- Facilitate connections with APA Go-To-Market teams, as well as synergies with Greater China Baking Center teams, and ensure BC department contributes actively to GTM ambitions and objectives.
- Collect, analyze and report technical information from market - positioning of competitors, trends and changes in customer requirements, etc - and BC activities across APA.
- Facilitate and support the recruitment and development of the team of baking experts in APA region.
- Responsibility of OPEX, CAPEX of the APA Baking Centre.
- Provide relevant support to Baking Center in all subsidiaries in APA sub region.
- Integrate HSE best practices into all design/product development.
- Consider HSE risk assessment in new projects (chemical risk, operating mode etc).
Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent,
- 5 years of experience in the same industry, with strong leadership and project management experience.
- Having a good knowledge of the local and regional industry.
- Able to handle complexity of the assignment: strategic insight, variety of activities, timeline (short term, long term), and innovation (global, business/market, product, etc.).
- Able to work in teams on transversal projects.
- Having a good knowledge of ingredients and bread-making process would be a major plus .
- Able to travel to countries in APAC.
