The role serves as the primary liaison among Sales, Credit, and Regulatory teams, ensuring seamless communication and rapid issue resolution while collaborating with cross functional groups to prioritize onboarding requests in accordance with business objectives and customer needs.
The incumbent leads Pipeline Review meetings to provide transparency on onboarding progress, identify risks, and manage escalations, and fosters a culture of continuous learning by coaching team members and delivering constructive feedback. By developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, alignment and effective collaboration are guaranteed, with oversight of the end to end onboarding process for new clients and the ongoing management of existing relationships. The position also establishes and enforces client management policies and procedures, facilitates global coordination across stakeholders, and proactively mitigates process related risks, escalating matters when necessary.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Client Management, Operations, Credit, Due Diligence, and/or Legal Negotiations experience
- Understanding of relevant legal agreements (ISDA/CSA, GMRA, MSFTA, Side Letters, NDA's, ETSA, Options Agreements etc.)
- Understanding how a large financial institution operates, with knowledge of both trade and client lifecycles.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong functional expertise in one or more areas (Risk, Legal, Due Diligence, Client Management, Operations)
- Deep understanding of banking regulations and operations
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the onboarding process for new Clients and maintaining existing relationships as part of the end-to-end client coordination process
- Establish end-to-end client management processes and enforce through policies and procedures
- Facilitate Global coordination and collaboration with various stakeholders (KYC, Credit, Legal, Compliance; Sales, Relationship Managers; Regulatory)
- Responsible for regulatory requirements collection, review and adherence
- Ensure internal/external systems setup
- Oversee the mitigation of risks related to the processes; facilitate escalations when required
- Participate, as needed, in external & internal audits of the Bank's functions and processes.
- Set an example and promote a culture of delivery excellence within the team, encourage an environment of openness that welcomes effective challenge and supports open discussion.
- Monitor the ongoing production process and the effective utilization of resources.
- Act on feedback from client reviews to maintain client satisfaction.
- Assist in dealing with technical queries from clients / auditors / internal stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for personal development and training.
