USC and GC only - No H1B, OPT, CPT at this time - 6 Months (Contract to hire)

The Tech Lead will tightly partner with the Product Manager of the pod to collectively enable successful product delivery - alignment of technical execution to achieve business goals and outcomes

o Anchors the technical integrity of the product, guiding engineering decisions and feasibility

o Determines HOW the product will be built efficiently, securely and scalably

o Leads architectural decisions, code quality and engineering best practices

  • Architectural decisions should be made based on standards and guidance provided by Data Solutions Architect(s)

o Owns technical delivery and quality

o Supports technical team growth, removes, technical blockers, and ensures engineering velocity

Includes but is not limited to:

o Day-to-day technical execution with team/pod

o Team Guidance in Breaking Down the Work

  • Support in translating high-level requirement into technical tasks and stories
  • Assess complexity effort
  • Collaborates with engineers and technical resources other teams
  • Includes Entire Vendor Domain:
  • Back-end Infrastructure/MDM/Data Pipelines/etc
  • Service Now Internal/External requirements
  • Dev-Ops requirements
  • Cross-functional Requirements (S4/Adams/SSO/etc)

o Oversees Spike work

o Oversees proper technical documentation in Confluence 

o Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, arch guidelines

o Design and define Vendor Enterprise Architecture (end-to-end) in partnership with the Data Solutions Architect(s)

o Close partnership with Dev-Ops to ensure work is scoped and meets requirements

o Will also pick-up work/stories/tasks (50% of time hands-on-keyboard) 

o Scalability, Security, and Performance - Technical Roadmap

o Mitigating technical debt

o Identify and mitigate technical risks or bottlenecks in development

o Defect Triaging and troubleshoot critical issues and guide resolution

o Perform code reviews, UAT Testing Plans, ensure robust testing

o Drive continuous integration best practices

o Support team growth and support

o Identify and surface gaps in resources (expertise and quantity) 

 

Service Now Developer (Service Now Implementation)

 Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using Service Now primary scripts

 Create and configure workflows, UI Policies, business rules, client scripts, and scheduled jobs 

 Design and implement forms and request fulfillment workflows

 Develop custom portals and UI/UX components

 Integration &; API Development

  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations
  • Work with cross-functional technical stakeholders on integration requirements

 Identity Access Management/RBAC Management

 Testing and Deployment

 Administration; Maintenance -  security configurations, and user administration

 Maintenance - Platform upgrade and other instance management

 Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
