What’s the role?

The RPA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering automation solutions to streamline workflows and processes in Lendi Group, working within a cross-functional team. With the selected RPA tool, the team will build software robots and develop end-to-end automated solutions to transform manual, repetitive tasks digitally. They aim to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve data quality, and help free up employee time by taking over rule-based activities.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in RPA tooling and low-code development, as well as an understanding of back-office operations and what tasks are most suitable for robotic automation.

Job Description

  • Designing end-to-end workflows and automation solutions tailored to specific business needs and requirements, with the support of a Business Analyst, to address inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas of improvement. 
  • Identifying suitable automation technologies, tools, and platforms to support process automation efforts. 
  • Implementing automation solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. 
  • Collaborating closely with other cross-functional teams to understand workflow requirements and business objectives, following the agile software project management framework. 
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, driving ongoing enhancements to automation capabilities and processes. 
  • Integrating automation solutions with existing systems, applications, and data sources to enable seamless information flow and process orchestration. 
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of automation solutions 
  • Creating detailed documentation, user guides, and training materials to support adopting and using automation solutions. 
  • Collaborating with the Learning and Capability team to deliver training sessions and workshops to educate end-users and stakeholders on automation best practices and usage guidelines. 

Qualifications

  • Significant and relevant industry experience in automation, workflow optimisation, and process re-engineering (inc. robotic process automation). 
  • Expertise and certification with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate or other RPA tools, and their best practice development standards. 
  • Understanding of automation trends and technologies and driving enhancements to automation solutions and processes. 
  • Proven experience in database and programming scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). 
  • Understanding of development and project methodologies. 
  • Expertise with REST, SOAP, and JSON. 
  • High level of attention to detail. 

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Experience with popular web application frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
