Job Description

As an Architectural Technologist you will be responsible to produce high quality project design and construction document deliverables while maintaining the design intent. You will work on any/all phases of development including Feasibility Studies, Pre-Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration and Closeout. The position requires supporting the Design team through technical documentation standards and visualization. If you demonstrate creative problem-solving, organizational skills, strong production management capabilities, and a good understating of construction documents and constructability in Architecture, this role is for you. 

What you will accomplish with us 

  • Be responsible and produce the production of technical drawings and construction details.
  • Establish, verify and correct technical construction concepts.
  • Control production quality to meet technical project objectives. 
  • Coordinate and Forecast resources to achieve these objectives. 
  • Coordinate and supervise internal production teams and other project-related professionals. 
  • Work collaboratively with BIM Manager and BIM coordinators to ensure model and Construction Document delivery is aligned. 

Qualifications

What You Need 

  • Architectural Technologies degree or diploma (Minimum).
  • Experience in architectural technical production.
  • 5 to 9 years of experience in technical drawing.
  • Ability to work with both remote team members and local team fluidly.
  • Experience working on high profile Architecrual projects. 
  • Proficiency in BIM workflows using Revit as authoring tool and ACC as common data environment. 
  • Familiarity with 3D real-time rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, and D5 Render is considered an asset.
  • Team spirit, ability to rally stakeholders around business decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver support to multiple projects.
  • Experience with sustainable building design is beneficial.
