What you’ll do
The Project Manager role includes responsibility for all aspects of project execution & delivery including client communications, design, production of plans/ specifications, quality control, consultant coordination and construction administration along with maintaining project budgets and invoices, managing architectural staff, and maintaining deadlines and schedules. Working closely with the design teams, we’re seeking an experienced project manager who is known as trusted advisor to clients and demonstrates strong skills on managing projects, on time and on budget. What you will accomplish with us

  • Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects;
  • Manage and monitor complex project deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project phases;
  • Lead architects, designers, engineers, and required consultants for project permitting, construction plan management, and project close-out;
  • Engage project stakeholders regularly by keeping them informed of delivery progress, risks and issues and manage expectations on deliverables;
  • Coordinate and collaborate on-site with Clients, external consultants, contractors, and vendors as needed, per project;
  • Assist with the preparation of fees, scope of work, proposals and contracts;
  • Produce feasibility studies, functional and technical programs, budgetary studies and project cost estimates;
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all client and design team representatives assigned to the project.

What You Need

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in architecture, or engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture or project management;
  • Experience in managing projects of over $5 million, in both private and public sectors;
  • Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation;
  • LEED AP and/or PMP Certification is highly desirable;
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
