Functieomschrijving
Over the past years, Lely has launched several groundbreaking robotic solutions, earning a strong reputation as an innovative and reliable partner to dairy farmers worldwide. To sustain this momentum, our organization continues to grow. We offer a dynamic environment where employees are encouraged to reach their full potential through diverse assignments, targeted training, and dedicated coaching.
Within our Product Development department, we design advanced robotic systems for dairy farming. This includes autonomous feeding robots, manure cleaning robots, milking robots, and more. Our department is responsible for both the conceptual design of new product generations and the ongoing lifecycle management of existing solutions.
Given the complexity and innovative nature of our products, we embrace a Systems Engineering approach. As a Systems Engineer for our milking robot product line, you will:
- Define and manage system-level interfaces and requirements.
- Guide multidisciplinary technical decisions from concept through release.
- Ensure delivery of the technical promise within agreed timelines.
You’ll also be part of a collaborative peer group of Systems Engineers with diverse backgrounds in mechatronics, electronics, and software. Together, you’ll help shape the role of Systems Engineering across the organization.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in mechatronics, robotics, or control engineering. However, if you come from another technical discipline and have experience working in a Systems Engineering context, we encourage you to apply.
If you're ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
