The Discovery Collector drives around the dairy barn 24/7. At certain times it is important that the Discovery Collector is stopped, for example when the farmer, or other person, enters the barn. With the current interfaces, both the app and the pause button on the robot itself, it is not so easy to stop the robot.

It is important that the pause button becomes more user-friendly and can be pressed more easily while the robot is moving around. During your internship you will use a new or improved interface to stop the robot within x seconds. It should become a usable button for all stakeholders who have to work in the barn.

Practical information:

• It is both a collaboration as a graduation internship; 
• You will be available for at least three months;
• You will be available from January/February;
• You are available 40 hours a week.

• You are following a WO study programme;
• You are following a study programme in IO – design for interaction or Human soft-robot interaction;
• You have a hands-on approach and you are creative;
• You speak and write English fluently.
