Job Description
As part of a small team, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of all Problems. The goal is to prevent incidents from occurring and to minimise the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. You will also maintain information about known errors and workarounds.
- Provide ITIL Problem Management services to the programme while working towards best practice approaches to Problem Management and sharing knowledge across the team.
- Provide timely, meaningful, and high-quality reports with detailed analysis tailored to the relevant audience.
- Participate in the Continual Improvement programme across relevant process areas.
- Contribute to process changes across the multi-vendor environment, including the delivery of ongoing training and development activities.
- Ensure adherence to Governance structures for both new process design and existing process change.
- Review all process improvement suggestions, including analysis of operational impact on customers, suppliers, and internal delivery, and provide recommendations for solutions.
Qualifications
- ITIL V4 Certification is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of Problem Management fundamentals and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve excellent results in a complex environment.
- Good understanding and broad application of service management documentation and the day-to-day requirements of managed services delivery.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Defence NV-1 security clearance.
