Job Description

The Security Support Analyst would be responsible for the day-to-day Cyber support of the Leidos Airborne Solutions environment, associated services, and applications.

The objective of this position is to provide Cyber support and services aligned to Leidos Airborne Solutions business requirements.

Primary Role

  • Proactively manage and monitor cyber security threats to systems with Leidos Airborne Solutions
  • Use available Cyber tools and processes to prevent, identity and respond to Cyber threats.
  • Ensuring alignment with IT frameworks including ASD Essential Eight and ISM
  • Communicate support actions, activities and schedules with all responsible parties in relation to jobs in progress and recorded in the ITIL software system.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Provide Status updates to IT Management.

Secondary Role

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or e-mails.
  • Support other IT team members when required.
  • Forecast and plan for future requirements.
  • Deliver all project tasks on agreed time within agreed scope.
  • Contribute ideas to assist the team in reaching its strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Services with a focus in a field such as Cyber, Enterprise IT, Software Development or Networking

Desirable

  • An understanding of Cyber Incident Response (Detect, Respond, Recover)
  • Some background in cybersecurity gathering, cyber response and cyber security concepts (networking, systems security, cloud security)

Additional Information

Successful candidates must be Australian Citizens at the time of application to be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
