Job Description

We currently have a vacancy to join our Corporate IT team as an Applications Support Analyst. In the role, you will be responsible for the day to day administrative support of the Applications in the Airborne Solutions environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Escalation and triage point for all calls assigned to the Applications Team from the Service Desk & apply corrective actions in an accurate & timely manner
  • Provide administrative duties for Airborne Solutions Applications
  • Collaborate with IS staff and third parties to ensure efficient operation of Airborne Solutions Applications Servers
  • Provide Status updates to Management upon request
  • Management of Ipads and Apps to support Pilots
  • Liaise with Infrastructure and Service desk to identify and resolve application related problems
  • Support application upgrades as part of a project team
  • Contribute ideas to assist the team in reaching its strategic objectives
  • Be available for Base Visits for Application upgrade/support matters.

    What we're after from you: 

    • Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Services with a focus in a field such as Data Analysis or Change Management.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project toolsets.
    • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrable experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, able to communicate effectively & efficiently with all stakeholders, applying effective organisational and time management skills, while operating within budgetary and time constraints

    Additional Information

    Successful candidates must be Australian Citizens at the time of application to be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
