Job Description

Supporting the Trade Compliance Team in the management of all aspects of the export control regulations associated with Leidos AU programs. 

This role will see you: 

  • Manage hardware movements from an ITC perspective for a particular line of business.
  • Update RAMMCO database with appropriate export control classifications
  • Ensure all Customs requirements are addressed and records maintained.
  • Process AU regulatory permits i.e. Dangerous goods, or the Dept. of Environment if they need SGG/ODS.
  • Processing and record keeping requirements associated with internal compliance documentation.
  • Answer queries as required by staff and stakeholders and assist to investigate and/or resolve compliance problems and queries.
  • Assist the Technical Assessor to determine jurisdiction classification of parts and components.
  • Assist with ITAR screening for all employees.
  • Manage the Technology Control Plan for for a particular line of business.
  • Conduct Denied Party screening checks.
  • Process travel requests.
  • Assist with the provision of training.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
  • A natural communicator (verbal and written) and a proactive and collaborative team member who has initiative and is able to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role is desired

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
