Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our team supporting a key Defence ICT program based in Canberra.  Working within a complex multi-vendor environment this role offers challenge as well as the opportunity to take the next step in your career with mentoring and training provided to support you in achieving your career goals.  

In this role you will develop and maintain detailed report solutions that allow Leidos to achieve our service level agreements. Your responsibilities will include;

  • Develop and manage reporting solutions within the Leidos and customer reporting tool suites
  • Develop user-friendly front-end reports, dashboards and visualisations
  • Develop back-end SQL databases
  • Support report enhancements, changes and answer questions regarding to existing reporting solutions
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, handle reporting requests, and training on how to use dashboards.
  • Analysis of data sets, identify trends and call out areas to target improvements
  • Make strategic recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve the daily operations within the team 

Qualifications

Coupled with you education or experience/combined education, you will have a pro-active and inquisitive approach and be able to demonstrate the following;

  • The ability to create clear and professional reports, procedures and other documentation using Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate and present complex data to stakeholders
  • Technical experience with database building, SQL and Power BI high desired
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to complete tasks within agreed deadlines
  • Proven ability to work well in teams, as well as autonomously
  • Industry specific knowledge and experience is desirable
  • Experience in Security tooling, Splunk and McAfee EPO and Service Manager would be beneficial

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV2 or minimum NV1 be able to obtain NV2 Australian Government Security Clearance.
