Job Description

Defence has engaged Leidos for a new Program of work to conduct a large migration of business systems. The Program will have a dedicated delivery organisation, and we are seeking highly motivated and appropriately experienced staff to help us deliver outstanding results.

This role will report to the capability lead in a matrix organisation, which supports the delivery of a range of complex projects and programs. This is an opportunity to join a Program at the initiation phase.

The successful candidates will be working on the migration of application services and manage the end to end process namely:

  • Working with application owners to develop a migration plan
  • Provisioning server infrastructure
  • Configuration of supporting services eg. DNS DHCP LBs
  • Updating relevant design documentation eg. DLD, BI, DR plans

Qualifications

For these positions we are seeking 

  • Demonstrated over a period of time (2-3 years minimum) a range of application support activities
  • Hands on feature upgrade / bug fixing / development experience.  Coding/development experience
  • Hands on experience in working on integration of different application/software systems would be a plus
  • Experience in supporting bespoke/customised software/in house developed software , more than just installation/configuration of off the shelf software packages required
  • Engagement with internal/external stakeholders to achieve outcomes  
  • Hands on Troubleshooting/bug fixing experience, example – active directory, network, firewall, performance issues, database/application integration

As we have multiple opportunities available we are interested in seeking candidates with a minimum NV1 security clearance or above who can work from Scoresby, Melbourne or Civic, Canberra.
