Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced all-round Tester to join a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting our Federal Government Program to deliver a new data centre capability.

Tasks Include:

  • Synthesise customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
  • Review and evaluate requirements for testability
  • Develop test plans, test cases and test procedures; and effectively conduct developmental, integration and/or acceptance testing within the bounds of technical, schedule and cost constraints
  • Perform analysis of test results, manage defects, and prepare comprehensive software component, subsystem and/or system-level test reports
  • Be required to collaborate and solve problems 

Qualifications

You will be curious, a consummate professional for off-the-shelf products and subsystems created to support the end product and ensure the systems work seamlessly with each other.

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a “can-do” and proactive approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Leidos’ objectives. You will be team focused and be an effective communicator who is confident to communicate at all levels.

You will also have:

  • Experience in performance and load testing of software components, subsystems and systems
  • Experience in test requirements elicitation, management, decomposition, traceability, and documentation, utilising test management processes and tools
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering Practices
  • Experience with V&V, performance and resilience test management
  • Experience with Test Automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline

This role will require the candidate to be able to hold a Baseline Security Clearance. Therefore, Australian Citizens are only being considered.
