Job Description

Your New Role

As our Administrations officer, you will be supporting Trade Compliance to meet international trade compliance requirements with customers and subcontractors.

Your day to day will entail:

  • Processing / data entry for international trade compliance requirements
  • Records management of associated documentation
  • Managing the trade compliance and legal shared inbox
  • Supporting Legal Counsel and Trade Compliance Director
  • Conducting Denied Party screening checks
  • Training co-ordination and associated recordkeeping
  • Monitoring reporting requirements
  • Liaising with program personnel and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining and updating the intranet site for Legal and Trade Compliance
  • Assisting Legal Counsel as required
  • Ad-hoc support and other duties as required

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

With a heightened attention to detail you will be highly effective in managing multiple, concurrent activities while understanding and managing priorities, and the dependencies or risks.

You are a natural communicator (verbal and written) and a proactive and collaborative team member who has initiative with an ability to work autonomously. 

You will have: 

  • Exceptional attention to detail skills
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all

Desirable

  • Experience in trade compliance desirable but not essential
  • Interest in compliance
