Job Description

About Your New Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Change Lead to support a multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System. This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF. This role will be responsible for the day to day implementation of the Change & Release process ensuring:

  • Effective coordination of the end to end Change management across a multi-vendor organisation including service integration
  • Support Commonwealth governance activities in accordance to the Change & Release Process and Procedures are implemented
  • Ensure Change & Release forums are appropriately chaired
  • Preparation and delivery of documentation deliverables
  • Support for key project activities requiring documentation support and change management
  • Facilitation of Change reviews and approvals via the program Change Approval Board (CAB)
  • Coordination and liaison in relation to technical project documentation, such as user stories and use cases
  • Facilitation of the Forward Schedule of Change and assessing scheduling impacts to avoid deployment conflicts
  • Identifying & implementing continual service improvements to the Change & Release Process
  • Commitment to Change Process adherence to align with the departments delivery methods and outcomes

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

  • ITIL V3 Qualified is preferred but not essential
  • Preferred understanding of ITIL Processes and how Change & Release Management integrates with the other ITIL Processes
  • Commonwealth change management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify solutions
  • Strong presentation, engagement & communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Inquisitive attitude, willing to ask if there is a better way of operating
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently

Due to the nature of the work this role will require applicants to be Australian Citizens with a Baseline clearance or ability to obtain.
