Job Description

As a member of the End User Services (Desktop Support) team, you will provide Corporate IT services for Leidos Australian staff, ensuring all desktop services are managed and supported effectively. 

You will work closely with the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to deliver a high level of service to the AU business by demonstrating proficiency in user desktop, laptop, software, printers, telephony, video conferencing and basic networking support.

You will also provide technical guidance to assist with the resolution of issues and problems affecting the SOE environment and help address knowledge gaps within the End User Services team in Canberra and remotely by providing coaching and documenting solutions.

You will perform local testing of operating system upgrades as well as new peripherals and workstation models to ensure their compatibility with the global SOE.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with troubleshooting Windows domains and networks
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of client hardware and software deployment techniques
  • Moderate understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field
  • Demonstrated experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in the defence industry)
  • Intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications
  • Prior experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is highly desirable
  • Technical or relevant industry certifications, such as ITIL and for Microsoft products are highly desirable

Additional Information

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be holding at a minimum, a current NV-1 Clearance.

Work will be performed at our Scoresby office.
