Job Description

Your New Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced ICT Engineer to support the start-up of the first phase of a new multi-year program, which will expand the capacity of the large enterprise environment for the next step of the program. This role will report to the capability lead in a matrix organisation, which supports the delivery of a range of complex project and programs.

This role is responsible for supporting the documentation, installation, configuration, administration, of a datacentre core, including associated hardware and enabling services.

Responsibilities include analysing (and updating) capability design documentation against the approved design, supporting the build of core ICT and enabling services and helping identify best practices to aid in the delivery of the system against the system specifications.

Qualifications

About You and What You Will Bring

Demonstrated Knowledge and experience in one or more of the below areas-

  • Large and complex enterprise environment
  • Data Centre Networking
  • Midrange systems/ Compute
  • Storage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite
  • BS (Technology) and/ or 4 + years of prior relevant experience

The role can either be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Melbourne

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen, undergo an Australian Police Check and be able to obtain a Baseline and/or NV1 security clearance.
