Project and Team – The opportunity
This is an opportunity to work with our customer and our delivery teams to maintain and expand our Service Request Catalogue.
Duties – What you’ll be doing
Your role includes but is not limited to::
Execution of the Service Request Catalogue Processes and Procedures;
Drive further development of Service Request Catalogue including process, procedures, work instructions, knowledge base articles, etc.
Work with partners and the customer to identify opportunities to improve and/or automate Service request Catalogue items
Prepare Reports for presentation as required;
Attributes – About you
You are a data-driven, methodical person and you are obsessive about using attention-to-detail in your approach to solving problems.
You will always do the right thing, not necessarily the easy thing. You take accountability for outcomes, and you are generous in your actions and outputs. You tackle problems with independent and critical thought and you never stop caring about the work products you create. If you build it, you help support it. If you break it you help fix it.
You work well in an environment where you can be proactive and pick up and work on whatever tasks need to be completed to fulfil the goals of the organisation. You are self-directed and don’t tend to wait for management direction if you can see what needs to be done. That means you take end-to-end ownership of an outcome and follow up with everyone who needs to be involved in creating that outcome.
Most importantly, you ensure that everything you do is secure, consistent, repeatable, and scalable.
Having expert skills and experience in the following areas is essential:
Service management and reporting
ITIL v3 or v4 processes
General knowledge of one or more of the following technical disciplines would also be highly valued:
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
Public cloud service integration
Outsourcing and vendor management
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Defence NV-1 security clearance .
