Job Description

About you 

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to deliver a scheduling service across the enterprise.  You will be supporting meaningful programs which will enable and support operations of military and intelligence force elements as well other federal government capability.

This role will see you work in team of project schedulers with Project Managers and Australian Government stakeholders to develop and deliver scheduling capability and services across our Australian business. You will also assess project issues and with the project manager and senior stakeholders develop resolutions to the schedule to meet customer goals and objectives. 

A typical day will see you;

  • Implement best practices across the enterprise with regard to Scheduling and the service capability
  • Develop, monitor and review project schedules.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Manage the Program schedule and prepare the status reports.
  • Analyse data and prepare reviews.
  • Work with program management to plan and manage program resource requirements.

Qualifications

About You & What You’ll Bring 

The successful candidate will be able to effectively develop and manage multiple schedules for ICT services in a dynamic environment using a range of scheduling methods, including waterfall and AGLIE. This role offers autonomy and will reward the successful candidate who shows initiative and supports innovation. Leidos Australia has a supportive network of schedules who will be available to provide insight and support to new schedulers in the organisation.

  • Ability to engage, lead and influence a complex set of stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment
  • Working knowledge of other related disciplines including forecasting and cost estimation
  • Expertise in MS Project
  • Knowledge in EVM and project financials

This role will require the successful applicant to hold and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
