Job Description

Your New Role 

Opportunity available for a Technical Project Manager with 5 years+ of experience, to join our team, delivering exciting software development and support projects to private companies and government departments worldwide. Working in a team with a close-knit culture, you'll be well supported in this role, working with the Principle Architect, Account Manager and Technical Sprint Manager in the Intelligence Business Line. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources, chair the customer project management status meetings, ad-hoc commercial and finance meetings
  • Develop and maintain project artefacts as required including resource plans and schedules
  • Progress reporting (internal and external). Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables and dependencies
  • Manage communication with the customers and other internal and external stakeholders. Set and continually manage project and program expectations while managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders
  • Financial management, including preparation of finance reports and supporting information for commercial activities, includes budget development and tracking cost
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes and manage allocation of technical resources across the project
  • Ensure project meets requirements regarding technical quality. Manage project scope and changes
  • Provide on-site/online leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating leadership, teamwork, innovation and excellence

Qualifications

About you and What You’ll Bring

You have 5 years+ experience in Technical Project Management. You bring strong relationship, effective communication and organisation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

You are experienced in Project Management activities such as building and maintaining schedules, tracking budgets and developing and updating internal and external reports and presentations. With some guidance, you are comfortable in managing technical projects.

Due to the nature of the work, this role will require applicants to be Australian Citizens with eligibility to apply for an Australian Government Security Clearance.
