Job Description

Your New Role

We have an opportunity with one of our key programs providing support and maintenance of a large enterprise environment spanning multiple locations (please note a current NV2 clearance is required), both within Australia and Internationally. This role will see work within a high-performance leveraged team working across a wide range of technologies. As a Midrange Systems Administrator, your role will perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

  • Install, configure, upgrade and maintain computer systems and operating systems and services
  • Support the installation, configuration, and upgrade of software tools including virtualization and application discovery tool-sets, and commercial user tools
  • Set up and administrator user and system accounts in a virtual and physical environment
  • Day to day management of VMWare, Windows, and firmware patching
  • Configuration and deployment of VMWare Auto Deploy
  • Configuration of VMWare Host profiles
  • VMWare VRops investigation of problem faults within environments
  • Troubleshooting and fault remediation
  • Create, update and amend process documentation, knowledge base articles, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Interact with users and key business stakeholders providing subject matter expertise
