Your New Role

This candidate will work with a team to rapidly build and deploy, while simultaneously supporting a key Defence program office to specify and design systems. The development will take place in an iterative fashion using agile methodologies with inputs from multiple stakeholders. 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engages CIOG enterprise DevSecOps capability to promote the need for in-scope applications.
  • Evaluates capabilities for DevSecOps onboarding and business benefits.
  • Responsible for automating development lifecycle activities.
  • Onboarding on-scope capabilities to DevSecOps tooling and processes in line with CIOG guidelines and processes.
  • Creating DevSecOps Standard Operating Procedures and operating guides.
  • Monitors application security compliance and posture using automated tooling and escalate non-compliance.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s objectives. You will also have:

• Experience in CI/CD automation and building DevOps pipelines in a complex environment

• Experience in tools like Jenkins and/or Ansible

• Experience with the following Software is highly desirable :

 -JFrog Artifactory

- Windows Server

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux

 - Kubernetes & Containers
