Job Description

About your new role 

Responsible for cyber security management, accreditation lifecycle activities, security reporting, and security verification and validation, you will be supporting the secure and effective delivery of ICT systems to the program.

  • Oversee cyber security function for the program and related projects;
  • Ensure systems integration and consistency with commonwealth security standards,; standardisation across all solutions and compliance with Australian Government security, privacy and secrecy requirements;
  • Provide leadership in the creation and maintenance of a secure ICT environment across  various locations 
  • Lead identification, implementation and review of the full range of security measures to minimise risk to Australian Government assets and information;
  • Perform and/or supervises staff in delivering security services;
  • Prepare for and participates in mandated engineering reviews;
  • Responsible for the planning, conduct and coordination of system security accreditation / certification activities for designated work packages and projects;
  • Complete understanding and wide application of cyber security principles, theories and concepts, in the field;

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring 

  • Current NV1 or NV2 clearance; 
  • Professional experience within the cyber security domain with relevant experience operating at a senior management level;
  • Professional Experience of the System Lifecycle using standard methodologies and techniques/tools;
  • Experience with the ISM and PSPF frameworks;
  • Demonstrated ability in providing direction and coordination to a team of professionals;
  • Extensive knowledge of cyber security procedures and protocols.

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV-2 or NV-1 security clearance.
