Your New Role 

Offering a $5,000 relocation bonus to applicants willing to move to Canberra for this role. Due to the level of customer and team engagement, this role requires an on-site presence and is open to applicants in Canberra only or those willing to relocate.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager who offers experience in the delivery of end to end projects including Win 10 roll out, Exchange 2016, Nutanix and more.

We are looking for a Project Manager who offers experience in federal government or defence programs. This role reports to a Program Manager and will work with a highly skilled cross functional team to deliver strong outcomes for our customer. 

 Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Run project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and maintain project artefacts as required including PMP, schedule, risk and issues registers, and communication plans etc.
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Manage dependencies that are being delivered by other ICT providers.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end-users and management.
  • Participate in budget development and evaluating how the project plan changes impact cost and schedule.

Qualifications

About you and What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience in delivering outcomes in multi-vendor environments.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and juggling the complexity of managing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a relationship management style that is consultative and attuned to the needs and expectations of the customer.
  • Formal qualification in Project Management (Agile, PMP, Prince2 Practitioner) and/or Professional membership would be desirable.
  • Experience in the delivery of infrastructure related projects is essential 
  • Previous proposal development and/or systems engineering practice experience would also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will leverage skills and experience to create productive working relationships with the customer team and other service providers. You must be able to create an instant rapport with the team and demonstrate that you understand how to build relationships and influence.

Due to the nature of the work, this role will require applicants to be Australian Citizens with a current NV-1 clearance.
