Your New Role

Leidos Australia is experiencing rapid growth and is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably skilled Software Engineers/Developers.

Working within an existing team, we require Software Engineers with exceptional development and analytical skills coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Our programs are heavily influenced by the above quote in that a high proportion of the scope of work requires the successful candidate to have "can do" attitude in assisting problem solving.  

We are seeking suitable skilled Software Developers with a passion for the following:

  • complex problem solving
  • learning new things, and not discouraged by failure
  • experience in any or all of the following:
    • Java, C# (>Net), JavaScript Frameworks such React, Angular, Vue etc.
  • automated test frameworks
  • Working with minimal supervision, and ability to prioritise your own tasking

The role is based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs.  

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and experience with:

  • Java or .net C#,
  • microservices, enterprise web applications,
  • javascript based web UI tech such as REACT etc,
  • enterprise search, analysis and reporting applications,
  • frameworks such as spring and others

You will also have great communication and interpersonal skills, together with a collaborative approach which help to build a productive team.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain and hold an Australian Government Security Clearance. Candidates with an existing Nv1 or NV2 clearance are encouraged to apply.
