Job Description

Your New Role 

We have an opportunity for an accomplished Project Manager who offers experience in the delivery of end to end projects. This hands-on role sits within our Project Services team as part of the broader Centralised Processing Program. 

We are looking for a Project Manager who offers demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders on several different projects concurrently and who can oversee and manage all operational aspects of projects.

 Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and update project artefacts as required including PMP, schedule, risk and issues registers, and communication plans etc.
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Oversee and coordinate work performed by external contractors.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end-users and management.
  • Participate in budget development and evaluating how the project plan changes impact cost and schedule.

Qualifications

About you and What You’ll Bring

  • Over five years of’ ICT project management experience in delivering outcomes in complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and juggling the complexity of managing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in simultaneously managing a diverse range of ICT projects.
  • Well-developed communication (oral, written and presentation) and collaboration skills; with a focus on achieving customer-focused outcomes.
  • Formal qualification in Project Management (Bachelor or Diploma PMBOK) or Professional membership would be desirable.
  • Experience in ITIL based project delivery.
  • Previous proposal development experience would also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will leverage skills and experience to create productive working relationships with the customer team and other service providers also embedded within their branch. A firm delivery focus and excellent communication skills are essential to building an environment of trust and collaboration between Leidos and other team members working within the customer branch.
