About the role and what you will do:

We're seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team and support pricing activities on a range of captures, for both for new business and existing programs. You will be the sort of person that likes consulting across a broad range of internal stakeholders to drive positive pricing and bid outcomes. Whist in this role you report through to the Pricing Team you will be in bedded in a high performing Business Development and capture team, working closely with the technical and scheduling teams, and participating in pricing reviews with management and customers alike You will have stakeholder management skills to die for! 

Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Support Senior Pricing Analysts with the compilation of cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) or contract specifications. 
  • Work closely with the Senior Pricing Analysts and technical teams to develop estimates for proposals and translate those estimates into cost and pricing responses.
  • Support Senior Pricing Analysts with financial modelling for pricing responses.
  • Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. 
  • Research and analyse historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. 
  • Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
  • Responsible for cost elements for internal gate reviews for tenders.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to obtain inputs and direction required for pricing.
  • Review tenders/draft contracts to identify commercial and financial requirements and to mitigate risks.

About you and What You’ll Bring

You excel in collaborating with a varied range of business stakeholders and are able to distill complex financial information into meaningful business messages. Communication and relationship building skills are essential along with an ability to work to deadlines. A background in Finance or Accounting would be advantageous but not essential.
