We also deliver service management, including service desk, for the Australian Tax Office, supporting 25,000 ATO end users.

Your new role

This role will see you work with project stakeholders to review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. You will also assess project issues and with the project manager and senior stakeholders, develop resolutions to the challenges in order to meet customer goals and objectives.  

Reporting to the Project Manager, 'a day in life' will be;

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and other internal and external stakeholders;
  • Monitor and review project schedules and prepare status reports;
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives;
  • Analyse data and prepare reviews;
  • Work with project management and team leads to plan and manage program resource requirements;
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute action items to ensure the project team is working cohesively. 

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring 

Essential characteristics of this person are your strong relationship building skills, your self-drive and willingness to learn. Ideally, you have Project Coordination/Administration experience and have used MS Project. Certifications in PMI, PMBOK or a related discipline will be highly valued. 

•    Ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
•    Demonstrable ability to consistently produce excellent results 
•    Working knowledge of other related disciplines including project resourcing or budgets

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to hold a current baseline clearance, ideally an NV1.
