Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to step up from your Project Coordinator role into a junior Project Manager position. You will join our Enterprise IT team and work with a range of technical experts to manage internal IT projects for Leidos Australia. 

This role will see you:

  • Work with project leads and other key stakeholders to capture technical requirements for input into project plans;
  • Define project plans, resource plans, define risks and assumptions relevant to each plan;
  • Track and report progress against project plans on a regular basis to Head of IT AU and key stakeholders;
  • Define and manage project coordination activities to ensure plans stay on schedule;
  • Manage internal/external stakeholders;
  • Ensure that document and artefact configuration control is maintained at all times;
  • Ensure document management processes including templates, review procedures, and registers are maintained;
  • Management of risks and issues in support of the project managers;
  • Co-ordinating procurement for project specific hardware, software etc;
  • Contribute to the planning, tracking and completion of on-going programs and projects.

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring 

You're an experienced Project Coordinator ready to take the next step in your career. You have a certification in Project Management and experience in a large scale ITSM provider. You've managed or coordinated IT projects before and are confident working with a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. 

  • Minimum three years experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Management role
  • Two or more years liaising with top tier vendors and suppliers
  • ITSM support experience and ITIL familiarity/certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent for Project Management and Reporting
