Job Description

Your new role is working with the Event and Incident team reporting to the Operations Manager

Centralised Processing (CP) is a key ICT program with the Department of Defence to supply CP services. The  Incident team are responsible for ensuring that all Incidents are resolved as quick as possible to restore services.

Key activities include

  • Chair Conference calls with relevant technical resources and other key stakeholders to orchestrate resolution of the incident.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they receive appropriate communication
  • Keep track of progress the incident against SLA's
  • Ensuring all Incident cases and records are accurately maintained and are of quality in content
  • Complete Post Incident Reports

About you and what you'll bring

  • Experience within an IT service desk environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously in a professional environment.Ability to assist in the resolution of conflict
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to empathise as well as prioritise
  • Proven ability to deliver a quality client service, under direction
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks

Qualifications

  • ITIL V3 Certification or higher highly regarded but not essential
  • ICT Industry qualifications (e.g. CompTia, Mircosoft) highly regarded but not essential

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Defence NV-1 or NV-2 security clearance .
