Job Description

Are you an experienced Travel Consultant or Travel Coordinator seeking more variety in your next role? Want to get out of the Travel Agency and into a corporate role? 

As the Travel and Expense Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking travel in partnership with our full time Travel Coordinator. You'll be joining a busy and highly experienced team so your expertise will be valued and respected. You will provide timely and compliant coordination and reporting for high-volume travellers. A current working knowledge of the travel industry and airline fare structures, both domestic and international, would be highly regarded due to the busy nature of this role. 

In addition to travel, you will also be heavily involved in a company-wide expense management program and for assisting staff with the processing of expense reports. This is a very varied role, so you'll have opportunity to broaden your experience in a corporate context. 

A typical day might involve, but not be limited to:

  • Travel coordination assisting the Travel Coordinator.
  •  Manage travel and expense profiles, preferences and accounts for Leidos staff.
  • Provide administrative support to the Travel Coordinator.
  • Coordinate the expense management and audit process across the company in partnership with the Travel Manager.
  • Assist with training of new employees on how to enter expense reports into SAP Concur.
  • Primary point of contact for all levels related to expense reporting tool and the expense reporting process.
  • Facilitate correct reconciliations and proper documentation among employees and company policy.
  • Provide training as needed in Concur Expense Management Program.

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring 

To be considered, you must have a minimum of three years experience in a travel consultant or corporate travel coordination role and possess a good working knowledge of the travel industry.

You are professional and well organised and thrive in a fast paced environment. You're a quick learner and a team player, offering support to your peers when your own work volume is light. This team provide a high level of travel and expense support to the Executive team and a range of senior stakeholders across Leidos, so discretion is essential. 

The following are desirable: 

  • Prior experience with Expense Management systems 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge of basic reconciliation and expense management principles required
  • Ability to coordinate with many stakeholders
