Your New Role

We have a new opportunity for a seasoned Account Manager to take on the role in supporting our existing client.  This role will see you report into the Senior BDM.  You will play a role in securing long term growth opportunities for Leidos.

With the support of your Manager, your core focus is to identify, qualify and capture new long term business opportunities and collaborate with the business area for growth in the region. This is a role that will see you engaged across all parts of Leidos. Specific tasks include (are not limited to):

  • Be the contact person in relation to these accounts
  • Identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities for Leidos
  • Execute the Company’s business capture management processes.
  • Coordinate customer relationships critical to new business development including partnership development.
  • Establish and maintain enduring, inclusive relationships and communication with key stakeholders at appropriate levels to qualify and grow key Federal Government and Intelligence accounts.
  • Contribute to Leidos Win Plan and Request for Tender process across all new business as required

 

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring 

In addition to your outstanding stakeholder management skills, it is desirable that you will have either of the following skills and experience;

  • Proven experience in securing major account growth
  • An understanding of Federal Government agencies and procurement practices
  • Mature understanding of Capture / BD concepts as applied to Federal Government
  • Ability to contribute to long term strategic growth

You will have an excellent level of competency and knowledge of the functional areas with substantial hands-on experience within BD. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to collaborate and network with senior stakeholders and enjoy engaging with people.  This role will be well suited to someone who is keen to take on a leadership and strategic role.

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to obtain a security clearance.
