Job Description

Your New Career 

We have an opportunity for a Project Administrator to provide support in relation to an important Federal Government Project. This includes maintenance of Project data registers and reports and ensuring documentation configuration control is applied. This will also see you provide secretariat support to Project governance forums including creating meeting materials and minutes.

“A day in life' will see you:

  • Administration of project registers including the compilation of reports
  • Provide secretariat support to Project meetings, including assisting with the creation of meeting materials and minutes
  • Assist with document and artefact configuration control for project data
  • Assist with maintenance of document management processes including templates, review procedures, and registers
  • Provide input and suggestions for continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Provide general support to Project Managers in the preparation of contract deliverables
  • Liaise with external stakeholders for office supplies and facilities issues
  • Provide general support for facilities management and office management

Qualifications

About You and What You Will Bring 

You have experience in a corporate administrative role, ideally within the federal government or defence sector. As you will be managing project data, a high attention to detail and accuracy is essential. You will demonstrate a can-do attitude with the ability to develop new skills and take on new responsibilities. The following experience would be valued, but not essential: 

  • Experience in project administration.
  • Experience in IT/Defence is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge with computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint).
