Your New Role

We have a new opportunity for a seasoned leader to take on the role as  Account Manager for Federal Government and Intelligence.  This role will see you work closely with other BDM / Account Managers who are currently supporting existing accounts within Home Affairs and Intelligence.  You play a strategic role in securing long term growth opportunities for Leidos.

Your core focus is to identify, qualify and capture new long term  business opportunities and collaborate with the business area for growth in the region. This is a role that will see you engaged across all parts of Leidos. Specific tasks include (are not limited to):

  • Be the senior contact person in relation to these accounts
  • Identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities for Leidos
  • Execute the Company’s business capture management processes.
  • Coordinate customer relationships critical to new business development including partnership development.
  • Establish and maintain enduring, inclusive relationships and communication with key stakeholders at appropriate levels to qualify and grow key Federal Government and Intelligence accounts.
  • Contribute to Leidos Win Plan and Request for Tender process across all new business as required

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring 

In addition to your outstanding stakeholder management skills, it is desirable that you will have either of the following skills and experience;

  • Proven experience in securing major account growth
  • An understanding of Federal Government agencies and procurement practices
  • Mature understanding of Capture / BD concepts as applied to Federal Government
  • Ability to take on leadership role and evidence of securing long term strategic growth

You will have an excellent level of competency and knowledge of the functional areas with substantial hands-on experience within BD. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to collaborate and network with senior stakeholders and enjoy engaging with people.  This role will be well suited to someone who is keen to take on a leadership and strategic role.

Ability to obtain an NV1 Clearance is essential
