Leidos Australia is the largest commercial supplier of intelligence services to the Australian Government and provides a number of critical systems integration projects to the Department of Defence. We also deliver service management, including service desk, for the Australian Tax Office, supporting 25,000 ATO end users.

Job Description

Joining a large scale Federal program, this role will work within a high performing technical team and carry out complex systems engineering assignments thus requiring a high level of technical expertise across a broad range of technologies. 

Duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Preparing and participating in engineering reviews.
  • Eliciting, understanding and designing against both business and technical requirements.
  • Deploying, integrating and testing products and solutions.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans to minimise Program impacts.
  • Leading and contributing to the completion of specific programs and projects.
  • Representing the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
  • Mentoring other Engineering team members.

Qualifications

In addition to having experience in Systems Engineering you will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent experience/combined education.

The following professional certifications and experience will be highly regarded;

  • ITIL and its key concepts.

  • Experience and/or certifications with Directory services, Certificate authorities, Mobile Device management, Storage Systems, Server, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Networks, Firewalls, Cloud, IPS, Automation, Citrix, VMWare.
