Your New Role 

Rare opportunity to lead a high performing division within one of Leidos’ largest ICT programs of work. Together with your leadership team of six, you will drive strategic commercial outcomes within a complex federal program, seeking out new ways to service your client’s unique challenges. The most unique aspect of this program is the unlimited nature of its potential growth. You will excel if you think strategically and creatively, with the ability to turn your customer’s problem statement into a service opportunity.

Reporting into the Director of IT Services for Leidos, you will have full P&L accountability for the program and key partners will include Senior Program Managers across Leidos as well as subcontract partners and vendors. A highly complex, multi-vendor environment, your relationship management skills will be essential in driving smooth operational outcomes between Project Services and On Going Services.

With your Senior Project Managers, you will ensure a high level of delivery and execution of both large scale and small projects within the program. Managing financial and staff resources will be a key challenge, as this team are utilised for the delivery of around 100 projects per year and often face significant pressures both internally and externally.

This role will suit Program Managers or Senior Business Leaders who have exceptionally strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a truly collaborative and inclusive leadership style. You excel in managing a high performing leadership team by encouraging transparency and a culture of trust and partnership.

Your team include Scoping Architecture, Proposal Management, Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Project Management. By controlling the end to end life-cycle your business is positioned to define and deliver high quality bespoke solutions to customer problems.  

About you and what you'll bring

You are a seasoned Program Manager or ICT Business Leader with 5 years+ experience delivering large scale and complex ICT programs or projects. This is not purely a program execution role; you must have demonstrable experience driving commercial outcomes with a customer and bring strong business development skills. Your strength lies in your ability to think strategically and seek out opportunities for business growth, while also focusing on high quality execution outcomes. You are a passionate leader and have lead multidisciplinary teams in the past to an exceptional standard, achieving a high level of engagement and collaboration. You can navigate the complexity of large scale programs and excel in building relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and subcontract partners. Ability to influence decisions and outcomes will be essential. 

Tertiary qualifications in a related field and Project Management qualifications or certifications are highly desirable. 

You must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain a baseline clearance to be eligible to apply.
