We also deliver service management since 2012, including service desk, for the Australian Tax Office, supporting 25,000 ATO end users.

Job Description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Service Service Delivery manager to lead the EUTS (End User Technology Services) contract with the Australian Taxation Office. The service includes national field support (via a subcontractor) together with provision and support of end user infrastructure at data centre and site hubs. 

This is truly a career-defining leadership opportunity where, along with leading a large in-house team of IT professionals, you'll have significant influence and will drive large parts of the Customers end user strategy. You will be an advocate for best practice Outsourced IT Services and a thought leader in contemporary End User Computing practices. Your passion for quality, reliability and resilient services will ensure SLAs and service compliance are met, and you will be responsible for all service delivery aspects from finance (P&L), customer relationship, contractual matters and negotiations and importantly people leadership.  

The ATO is one of Australia's largest non-banking transactional environments that is critical to the Australian economy and is undergoing substantial modernisation. This is an opportunity to drive service improvement, innovation and efficiencies for both the customer and Leidos. 

Qualifications

About You 

  • You will have at substantial (10 +years) of IT experience including several years of end user computing experience in a large enterprise, complex, high transaction, high availability IT environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple sub-contractors and in a demanding customer multi-vendor outsourced environment
  • Ability to gain trust and confidence through knowledge, insight, leadership and presence
  • Have a collaborative approach using a consultative, influencing style.
  • Exceptional communication skills, and can present in a face to face and virtual environment

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and ideally have a current Baseline security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
