Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for Maintenance Planner to join a small team responsible for providing support to a recently delivered capability and for the introduction of additional new capabilities into service or a for the RAN. In this role you will be responsible for establishing the maintenance routine for delivered systems (including software) from the existing technical documentation, coordination of vendor maintenance and establishing new processes to support streamlined maintenance activities.

Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the successful applicant will be work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager, Field Services Representatives (FSRs) and Supply Support Specialist to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely fashion in-line with the projects key KPIs

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing an annual activity plan for all Preventative Maintenance
  • Managing and Reporting performance against maintenance KPIs
  • Work with the Senior Maintenance Manager to schedule activities to support Corrective Maintenance activities
  • Coordination of internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities have the required OQE and are accurately reflected within the CoA systems
  • Some local travel may be required to support customer review and for technical investigations

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an Australian citizenship and either hold or be willing to progress a Defence clearance. In applying for this position, candidates are requested to address the following criteria:

  • Tertiary Level qualifications in a relevant field, preferably within the defence industry;
  • Ability to interpret technical data/documentation
  • Experience using Commonwealth systems (DPN, MILIS, AMPS, Mercury)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills.
