Job Description

Your new role and team

Initially this is a 6 month fixed term contract. We are flexible on location and whether you are wanting to work full time or 4 days a week!  The essence of the position is providing coordination and administrative support to an exceptionally busy team focused on our Organisational Capability. 

This role is administrative, however the larger component is coordinating and supporting the team with initiatives and a can do – Can I help –attitude!

The 2019 Organisation Capability Plan includes a major People Leader Program roll - out, a significant Diversity and Inclusion agenda and evolution of the Learning & development landscape (new system and processes) If that is not all…. - this is together with a wide range of ongoing internal communications activities and cyclical deliverables- such as our Leidoscope engagement survey, talent processes and Senior Leader forums.

It will be a busy role in a fast paced environment with multiple balls to juggle within a supportive fun team that is really focused on making a difference.

Qualifications

About you and what you’ll bring

You will be an Admin ninja, have highly developed and quality administration skills, be able to navigate multiple systems. Very comfortable with PowerPoint, outlook (booking systems) and excel and you enjoy mastering new systems to support the team working environment

You will be involved in

  • Training and event coordination (people, rooms, equipment, facilitator support, catering, printing, pre work, post work, survey, Learning management system etc)
  • Internal comms support – Intranet updates, coordinating Zoom/Skype set up, coordinating content collection, supporting regular company-wide email news updates
  • Project support – coordinating workshops / meetings, materials, liaison with other parts of Leidos, project administration and reporting
  • Reporting – developing and delivering a range of reports for a range of audiences
  • Team administration – coordinating payment of invoices and tracking of spend, travel requests, expense processing etc
  • Broader Team Support – the HR Team works in a highly collaborative way and there may well be broader team coordination and support activities the evolve as this role settles in
