Job Description

About your new role

Leidos has a 12 month contract opportunity with our Payroll team at our Scoresby location. Using iChris and Payline you will ensure the efficient service delivery of Payroll to our business. Working within a close-knit team environment, your role will include:

  • Payroll functionality
  • Administering Work Schedules and validating Time Data from our client’s administration systems
  • Performing transaction activities and deliver operational excellence
  • Delivering and maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings by processing transactions accurately and meeting agreed service levels for process specific area
  • Performing customer request/problem identification and following defined incident notification and escalation procedures
  • Identifying risks associated with execution of the assigned tasks within the business process and escalate / mitigate / resolve as required
  • Understanding and comply with internal controls, regulations and security requirements linked to the business process and support on internal audit requests and quality assurance requests, including gathering evidence for audits
  • Liaising with all payroll vendors/providers for all payroll related queries
  • Other Payroll activities including but not only limited to: transferring data to HR and Finance, any additional payroll runs, manual deductions, making payroll adjustments, leave reconciliations, expat shadow, Payroll prject work, manual payment, managing cut off dates etc.

 

    Qualifications

    About you
    We are looking for client focused professional with extensive prior Payroll experience. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills that are polite and tactful with the ability to present complex data/credit issues to management. You have strong time management, organisational skills and can self manage and work under pressure; in return we can offer a flexible working environment.

    Other experience required includes:

    • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Payroll or any related fields (desirable)
    • Good MS Excel Skills
    • Strong analytical skills (Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data);
    • Strong Reconciliation skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work solo (self motivated) or in a team environment (team work)
    • iChris and/or ADP experience is highly desirable
    • Payroll project work is  highly desirable
