Our Business Development team have an opportunity for a Proposal Facilitator to facilitate the efficient delivery of quality proposal documents. This includes assisting proposal teams with compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for tender proposal (RFT) specifications. 

A “Day in the Life” will see you;

  • As the main point of contact between proposal management, authors, volume leads, graphics and production personnel, the facilitator’s objective is to coordinate, maintain and track all work from all participants during each phase of the proposal process up to and including reporting and timely delivery of the final product.
  • Provide coordination and guidance to the proposal team throughout the proposal cycle including all reviews and final production. Serve as a liaison point between Delivery, Operations and the Planning team for proposal development.
  • Analyse the RFP for formatting and production requirements, maintain/track configuration control for all text and graphics documents. 
  • Administration of the SharePoint Collaborative Capture Environment, set user access and permissions
  • Review tenders/draft contracts to identify strategies for compliance and to mitigate proposal delivery risks
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to provide estimates/quotes for pricing
  • Team with cost/schedule analysts to establish contract cost and schedule baselines
  • Working with proposal teams to perform project risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Assist authors with document editing and version control
  • Coordinate venues, catering and teleconferencing for internal reviews and workshops.
  • Distribute solicitation documents including RFT and amendments.
  • Assist Pre-sales Manager in converting service improvement opportunities into Proposals

Qualifications

You will also have;

  • Demonstrated MS Word typing, editing and formatting skills
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, facilitating and co-ordinating Proposal / Tender / Sales documentation/ activities Professional experience in authoring and co-authoring Proposals
  • Proven experience in managing staff in successful delivery and timely Proposal submission

This position will require the successful candidate to be Australian Citizen as they will be required to obtain a security clearance.
